With The Bachelorette season 21 nearing its conclusion, I'm convinced Devin Strader isn't the right match for Jenn Tran. 26-year-old Jenn is a physician's assistant who made her television debut during Joey Graziadei's season of The Bachelor. Though 28-year-old Joey eliminated Jenn before hometown dates, she made quite an impression on fans and was selected to be this season's Bachelorette. The casting choice was historic as Jenn is Bachelor Nation's first Asian American lead, selected to date 25 young eligible bachelors.
Jenn liked 28-year-old business owner Devin Strader right away, and after getting to know each other throughout The Bachelorette season 21, Devin received one of Jenn's final three roses. After going to Devin's hometown and meeting his family and friends, Jenn saw a whole new side to Devin, and she's obviously falling for him. Devin has been winning Jenn over with his charm and confidence, but there are several reasons why I still don't think he's the right man for her.

Devin Seems Too Confident In His Relationship
Bordering On Arrogant
One of the most attractive things about Devin is his confidence. He's the type of guy who really puts himself out there and pursues Jenn hard, which she clearly responds to. From the moment he set foot in The Bachelorette season 21 mansion, he set himself apart from the other men by going after Jenn with a lot of effort. While the other men waited their turn to speak to Jenn, Devin took the initiative. During an early episode, he was chosen to go on a group date, during which he took Jenn aside to buy her some gelato.
This was a turning point for Devin as it angered the other men, but further impressed Jenn.
Devin Has Feuded With Several Cast Members
He Stirs The Pot
From the first episode of The Bachelorette season 21, Devin stepped on the toes of several men. He wasn't trying to stir up conflict with the men, Devin was focused on winning Jenn's heart. He wasn't shy about pulling Jenn aside during group dates and co*cktail parties, and he also didn't hesitate to interrupt Jenn's time with other men.
Two of the men who Devin had the most conflict with were 29-year-old Aaron Erb, 27-year-old Sam McKinney, and 31-year-old Thomas Nguyen.

Though Devin is a charming guy who seems to like Jenn, some fans have questioned his intentions and whether he joined the cast of The Bachelorette season 21 for the right reasons. In addition to his conflict with the other men, there has been some criticism of Devin's social media presence, which I find completely unfair. The accusation isn't even about anything that Devin posted himself, but mostly about posts he may have liked. Whether Jenn chooses Devin, I invite the people digging through his old social media to get a life.
